Australian Karrie Webb and Yun-Jye Wei of Chinese Taipei hit from the elevated first tee at Royal Sydney Golf Club to begin their final round at the 2007 MFS Women’s Australian Open. Webb started the round four strokes clear of her opponent as she sought to win her third Australian Open title.

Long Birdie Put 13th Hole: At the par-5 13th, Woods drove with a 3-wood, knowing the green was likely unreachable in two. He found the fairway, then played short of the creek with a short iron. Pitching from short-right of the green, Woods came up 20 feet short of the hole. But after getting a good read on the line from Kuchar, he poured in the right-to-left birdie putt, his longest sink of the tournament Great Birdie put 15th Hole: The par-5 15th has been good to Woods through the years. With Thursday’s eagle, he had played the hole a combined 37-under par. Looking to add to that total, Woods smashed a big drive down the center of the fairway, then ripped a 3-wood that landed in the middle of the green and rolled just over the back. Facing a slick, downhill chip to the far-left pin placement, he misjudged the shot, which hit soft and kicked right, and was fortunate to wind up only 18 feet above the hole. But Woods still rolled it in the hole for a birdie. After opening with a 4-under-par 68 on Thursday, he followed with a 70 for a 36-hole score of 6-under 138, tied for third
