I was born around there. They should find a new city because Myrtle Beach council is too dumb to upgrade roads to handle the city’s recent growth. The roads get backed up even with nothing going on in town.

Black Bike Week isn’t cancel LOL. People still showed up in 2009.
Also, total revenue generate for Black Bike Week is over 100 millions dollars. Hotels alone generate over 100 million “add the number of room available by average of 150 a night”. I don’t know where people are getting these low numbers from “The Bay View hotel with has close to 1000 room at 250 a night “1000 for the weekend” Generates 1 million +, now multiple that by a few hundred hotels in the area, plus gas, food, etc. Un offical estimates are around Quater of a billion dollar “that for a city with a population of only 24k’ people. Myrtle Beach is support by tourism, and the two bike week are their largest cash cows.
